Born and raised in northern Greece, founder Chronis Sapalidis hails from a long line of restauranteurs. His family has been in the food service industry for over 35 years.
He obtained his business degree from the Universite Paul Valery in Montpelier, France. Shortly after graduating, Chronis opened his first restaurant in Greece, becoming an immediate success. Upon moving to the U.S. in 1991, Chronis set about learning the local industry and opened his flagship restaurant Valley Forge Ristorante and Pizzeria in May 1996.
His love of the business, respect for employees, concern for customers, and high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and service, have made his restaurant a landmark in the Phoenixville/Valley Forge Area.
This success, coupled with consumer demand, has led to an expansion via a new restaurant Piazza Presto, located in the growth area of of Limerick, PA, and other franchise opportunities exist.
